How it works

From blueprint to takeoff.

Here's exactly what happens when you upload a set of drawings. No black box.

01

Upload your PDFs

Drop in your floor plans — construction docs, permit sets, or CAD exports. Vector PDFs from AutoCAD, Revit, or Chief Architect work best.

02

We read the drawings

The pipeline reads real vector geometry from your PDF. It identifies room boundaries, measures walls and ceilings, and counts doors and windows.

Vector data extraction, not image guessing
Room labels matched to boundaries
Scale detected from dimension strings
03

Review the output

Results show room-by-room measurements with confidence indicators. Rooms where the pipeline is less certain are flagged for review.

Confidence scores per room
Flagged items for manual review
Measurement sources visible
04

Use your takeoff

Wall sqft, ceiling sqft, baseboard linear feet, door and window counts — organized by floor level.

Is my data secure?

Drawings are processed on our infrastructure and never shared or used to train third-party models.

How long does it take?

Most residential plans process in under 60 seconds. Live status shown during processing.
